Cannot delete recordings

When I try to delete recordings that have failed (ie the recording has frozen part way through) I get the following message: "It is being used by another person or program ...". It isn't! And I can't delete the recording. Any advice welcome.

You get this message from Windows, not from i-Sound. Is it possible that another application indexed all your media files?
