You must select correct recording source.
Open Settings->Mixer and select "Stereo Mix" as recording source and try again. |

I do not see 'Stereo Mix' as an option.
Options are:
SPDIF-In
CD Digital
MIDI
CD Audio
Line In
Microphone
Auxiliary
Tad-in
Wave
Thanks for the help. |

It does say 'Stereo' on the player as the current mode.
I tried every recording source available and nothing works. |

Interesting, I am using the registered version (6.5.3.0) not the demo version and the sound card I am using is the Audigy2 ZS. Maybe my options are different than yours because we are using different sound cards or different drivers for our sound cards?
Under "Select Recording Source" these are the only options that I find listed:
MIDI Synth
"What u Hear"
S/Pdif-In
CD Digital
Analog Mix (Line/CD/Aux/Tad/PC)
Microphone
Wave
I use "What U Hear" to enable the sound.

| "Stereo Mix" available only in default Windows driver. If you used drivers from vendor's site than this input may be called "What U Hear" for Creative sound cards, "WAVE" for ADI and nVidia chipsets. In your case you must select "Wave" input. |
