I just installed my recorder on my new laptop & I cannot get it to record.
It dosen't seem to hear anything, the graph is flat all the time & the recording is silence.
I have checked all the faq's & have tried them all.
laptop=hp pavillon4500
os=xp |

Is DirectX 9.0 or better installed?
Check system mixer - possible recording control is muted |

The record mixer was muted...
