Hi, I am trying to record from my cassette recorder. I see the waves going up and down while recording but when I try to listen to it, I can very faintly hear the recording in the background, but mainly I just hear a loud noise, almost like a humming sound. Please help me to know how I can get this to work properly. Thanks! Deanna

It looks like you have enabled Microphone and Aux inputs and get background noise. Please open Windows Volume Control and mute all unneeded inputs for recording.
