Hi, I am about to order I-Sound after trying it out for a several hours but before I do can anyone comment on these points?
My nVidia motherboard (Epox EP-8RDA+) supports SPDIF sound with the MCP-T south bridge. Should this setting always give better sound quality than Stereo Mix?
The recording level controls (Mixer Settings) seem hit and miss to me! Is there a chance that future versions could include a 'read out' for the setting eg.
Left Channel -10 to +20
Right Channel -10 to +20
0 could be the default setting which is probably further to the left hence lower minus number.
Can anyone please give me some hints on achieving the best recording level - no distortion but high volume. Or is trial and error the only way? Many thanks Oleg for such great software! |

1. No, Stereo Mix = SPDIF, Line-In or anything else.
2. Optimal recording level 50-70% by VU-meter
Probably new version will include "read out" values - but possible problems with interface overloading. |
