Hi I am tring to include some files in my exe file.
They seem to attach okay but when they extract they are 0 KB in size.

I am using version 2.0.7.1

The original file sizes are
Blat.dll 108 KB
Blat.exe 102 KB
Blat.lib 3 KB

Try latest build 2.0.8.5 from http://www.abyssmedia.com/downloads/qbfc-beta.exe

Using version 2.0.8.5 does not even look as though it is including the file. When the program is executed i dont see the included files being extracted.

Included files extracted to Application Data folder. You can access it using %MYFILES% variable.
