I can listen to any streaming audio in CD quality but whenever I try to record it the sound seems to be coming from the end of a tube. I have tried several different programs but the effect is still there. I have a Realtek HD audio manager and I have the latest driver. Can anyone help me please ? |

I have double checked the Sound Manager and the settings are OK. I didn't mention before but in addition to the distorted sound, it is also mono only. |

I have found the solution. On the reord volume levels I muted the mic and stereo mix sliders. Hope this may help someone else. |
