I have found this tiny app lately and think it can be useful for me, but I have a problem:
Im using Vista as OS and I want to create an exe that start my Slideshow directly from CD.
The content of my batch file:
i_view32.exe /slideshow=slideshow.txt
This irfanview.exe is on my CD, okey it does work on every PC except under Vista. I think it is exctracted to a temp folder and there is the script not runnable, because it doesn't know/find my exe on the CD.
Is there a way to add a variable to the batch file that points my batch command to my exe on my CD ?
thanks, regards

I have seen that it might be a security problem. I can execute the exe from the HD, only from CD it does not "run".
Here in the office it does run on a PC under Vista, but there is UAC disabled
I must test it again at home if this is true or not (disabling UAC).
