Sound quality issue

Post by Gianluca » Wed Jul 18, 2007 2:44 pm

I am using i-sound to record a radio streaming and the quality of the recording is considerably poor compare to the audio source. I tried to adjust bitrate etc. but there are no major improvements. I have a dell latitude d620, the sound card is SIGMATEL HIGH DEFINITION AUDIO. Any suggestion?

1. Did you select right recording level? It should be ~70% by VU-meter.
2. Select same sampling rate as original radio stream

Recording levels aren't sticky

Every time I run i-Sound I have to adjust the recording levels to the correct setting. As I run i-Sound from a batch file this is impossible.

Is this a bug or a feature?

Try AGC option, it will adjust recording levels automatically.
