Filters

i-Sound has three built-in filters: high-pass filter, low-pass filter and notch filter.

  • Low-Pass Filter - cuts Frequencies from 0 to a specified Frequency. For example you can reduce tape hiss by activating this filter at 14-18KHz
  • High-Pass Filter - cuts Frequencys from a specified Frequency to half of the Sampling Rate. This can help you reduce hum from power the line at 50/60Hz
  • Notch Filter - to amplify a certain Frequency Range. This can improve voice recording if you activate the Notch Filer for 1-3 KHz.
